# Veelgestelde vragen (FAQ)

### Waarom verhoogt `target_installation: 6` de elektriciteitskosten?

Over het algemeen verwachten we dat het toevoegen van een volledig elektrische warmtepomp het elektriciteitsverbruik sterk verhoogt, en daarmee ook de elektriciteitskosten.

Vooral bij vrijstaande woningen kan een volledig elektrische warmtepomp al snel 6.000 kWh per jaar extra verbruiken, ook bij redelijk goed geïsoleerde woningen. Dit geldt voor zowel verwarming als warm tapwater.

Het verbruik kan nog verder toenemen als de woning ook overstapt op elektrisch koken (`target_electric_cooking: 2`).

Betere isolatie en beter glas verlagen het elektriciteitsverbruik enigszins, maar dit effect blijft beperkt. Een veelgebruikte manier om de stijging van het elektriciteitsverbruik te beperken, is het plaatsen van zonnepanelen.
