Improving the advice

The Sustainability API offers a lot of functions to improve the output from customers- and/or suppliers perspective. This page explains the different functions

Use the functions for the best possible sustainability advice

  1. Questioning the home owner for the current situation and energy usage

    1. Property details

    2. Measures taken

  2. Preferences of the home owner

  3. Preferences of the provider

  4. Presentation of the sustainability advice

Questioning the home owner for the current situation and energy usage

Home data and consumption Postal Code * House number * House number addition Surface area (m2) House type Construction year Inhabitants Gas usage (m3) Electricity usage (kWh) City heating heat consumption

Explanation

The address is used to request all home data and to make estimates with regard to current measures and consumption. It is possible, but not required, to overwrite the surface area (residential usable area), the housing type, year of construction, number of inhabitants and cubic gas consumption.

* is required

Questioning current measures

Present solar panels Existing installation Present insulation windows Existing insulation floor, facade and roof Existing ventilation Present shower HRV

Explanation

With the year of construction, housing type, gas consumption and the surface area known, an estimate is made of the current measures in place. It is possible to overwrite this to generate an advice that is more in line with the current situation of the property.

Preferences of the customer

Exclude measure in advice Maximum budget Target energy label as a minimum Boiler replacement is allowed Recommend heat pump Search criteria sustainability Gas consumption allowed Roof utilization for solar panels

Explanation

It is possible to lock measures so that they are not included in the advice. Indicate whether the boiler may be replaced and whether a heat pump may be recommended. A maximum budget or the goal of sustainability can be taken into account: best return, lowest investment costs, lowest energy bill or best energy label. It is also possible to exclude natural gas consumption and to indicate to what extent the roof may be used for solar panels.

Preferences of the provider

Exclude sub-measure in advice Strict search within target energy label Show number of panels or wattage Minimum number of solar panels advice Only heat pump from certain insulation level Cost figures Cost table

Explanation In addition to locking entire measures, a sub-measure such as the biomass boiler can also be excluded. It is also possible to search strictly within one energy label as a target. By default we show the number of solar panels as output, but wattage is also possible. You can also enforce the minimum number of solar panels that are recommended. Just like from which insulation level a heat pump is recommended. Finally, it is possible to overwrite all used installation costs and cost indicators such as VAT and energy prices.

Presentation of the advice

Estimated energy label current & new Eco value: market value increase Investment required CO2 reduction Investment, savings CO2 reduction and BENG2 impact in % per measure Current definitive energy label (RVO)

Explanation The API makes an estimate of the current and new energy label based on. the NTA 8800. A calculation is made of the increased market value after sustainability. The required costs and CO2 reduction are also shown in total, as well as the relative impact on the energy label for each measure. The definitive energy label is collected from the RVO.
