CO2
CO2 calculation
The total CO 2 emissions in kg follow per year directly from the total scaled and corrected consumption of all energy carriers together (gas, electricity, heat and biomass).
The conversion factors to determine the CO 2 emissions in kg for each of the energy carriers can be found in the table below. The values ββcome from the ISSO 82.
Conversion factors CO2
Gas
1.78kg/m3
Heat
50.6 kg/GJ
Electricity
0.48 kg/kWh
Biomass
0.98 kg/kg
The total CO 2 emissions in kg per year can now be determined as follows:
Total annual gas consumption in m3 times conversion factor for gas: 1.78kg/m3
Total annual heat consumption in GJ Conversion factor for heat: 50.6 kg/GJ
Total annual electricity consumption in kWh Conversion factor for electricity: 0.48 kg/kWh
Total annual biomass consumption in kg Conversion factor for biomass: 0.98 kg/kg
The CO 2 saving is the difference between the CO 2 emissions in the starting situation and the CO 2 of the new situation.
