Explanation about the Altum AI Platform
How can I use Altum AI's APIs?
This can be done by creating an account via the registration page. The use of the Platform can be tested with 15 free API credits, with each API call representing one credit. Each time Altum AI's APIs are used through the graphical interface or through a proprietary application, a credit is consumed from the limit.
How does Pay per use work?
With pay per use it is possible to make unlimited use of Altum AI's APIs. Each API call costs one credit, and a credit costs € 0.47 excl. VAT. The Pay per use usage is tracked in the Dashboard and settled monthly in arrears.
How does a subscription work and what is the cancellation period?
In addition to Pay per use, which is settled one month after the start of the subscription, it is possible to purchase Prepaid credits at a lower rate. Subscriptions are concluded for one month and can be canceled at any time. In the event of premature cancellation, outstanding Pay per use costs will be settled immediately. If the subscription is not cancelled, it will be tacitly extended by one month .
How can I increase the number of credits?
You can easily do this by taking out or changing a subscription. To do this, you must be logged in to the application and choose a suitable subscription on the Subscriptions page.
What happens if I upgrade or downgrade the plan?
When upgrading the subscription, the costs of the prepaid subscription will be charged immediately. The prepaid credits are made available immediately. Any outstanding prepaid credits from a previous subscription will expire. Therefore, make sure that these are used up before an upgrade is applied. Any outstanding pay per use costs will be settled immediately. Upon downgrading, any outstanding prepaid credits from the subscription will expire. Therefore, make sure that these are used up before a downgrade is applied. Any outstanding pay per use costs will be settled immediately.
What is the shelf life of prepaid credits?
The shelf life of prepaid credits is one month from purchase. Unused credits are not carried over to the next month. How do I use the Transaction API? Separate rates and prepaid subscriptions apply to the Transaction API. Read more about the conditions here.
How current is the number of remaining credits in the dashboard?
There can be a delay of 1 minute between the execution of the API call and the latest status of the number of credits in the dashboard.
What does it cost to use the platform?
Go to the Subscriptions page in the Platform for prices and conditions.
How do I integrate an API into an application?
To integrate an API you can use the API key that can be found in the Account in the Platform. Make further use of the documentation available on the Documentation environment.
How do I know if an API is operational?
On the Status page you can find the current availability of all services.
How can I contact Altum AI for support?

Is it possible to integrate the APIs without costing credits?
There is a Sandbox API with dummy output data where each API call has no influence on the number of credits. Read the Sandbox documentation for this.
How can I cancel a subscription?
Canceling a subscription is possible via the Dashboard. Click on the subscription under Abonnement and press 'Annuleer'.
